Rigging, Reinforcement & Real Experience – Prime Cadets Go Behind the Scenes

At Prime Constructions, we believe the best learning happens with hands-on experience – and this month, our cadets got exactly that.
Our Prime Cadet cohort recently visited two of the industry’s finest: Wire Industries and Borger Cranes – getting up close with the people, processes and equipment that bring our projects to life.
At Wire Industries, the team discovered how structural drawings are transformed into precision-cut, bent and welded steel reinforcement – the backbone of every build. At Borger Cranes, they explored a diverse fleet of lifting equipment and gained practical insight from experienced riggers and dogmen on load rigging, equipment selection and on-site communication.
Cadet Lachlan Sullivan summed it up perfectly:
“It was a great experience seeing the work that goes on behind the scenes of our projects… an informative and worthwhile experience that provided a deeper understanding of key processes within the industry.”
This is what the Prime Cadet Program is all about – hands-on exposure, real industry relationships and building the capability to step confidently into a construction career.
