Prime Constructions was engaged to deliver a purpose-built facility for Toyota within the Oakdale Industrial Estate, now operating as the Toyota Parts Centre NSW (TPC). Constructed for developer Goodman Group, the large-scale logistics facility occupies a 6.4-hectare site and provides more than 50,000m² of total work area, including 36,000m² of warehouse space, 1,500m² of office accommodation and 15,000m² of concrete pavement.

Designed with a strong focus on safety, efficiency and operational performance, the facility incorporates class-leading features such as low rack storage systems to eliminate working at heights and a comprehensive man-and-machine separation strategy throughout the warehouse. A generous 63-metre-deep hardstand and 30-metre-deep awning support safe, all-weather loading for heavy vehicles, including B-doubles.

The centre was Toyota’s first to utilise autonomous intelligent vehicles (AIVs), reducing manual handling and improving productivity. Capable of housing more than 128,000 parts and dispatching up to 27,000 items daily, the facility also includes automated conveyors, a large mezzanine and dedicated forklift recharge areas. Completed in approximately 11 months, the project reflects Prime’s expertise in delivering complex, high-performance industrial facilities.
