Rosebay Preschool

Prime Constructions delivered the Rose Bay Preschool as part of the broader staged redevelopment of Moriah College at Queens Park, contributing to the renewal of ageing facilities with modern, sustainable learning environments. The project involved the construction of a new two-level preschool facility designed to support early learning while integrating seamlessly within the existing campus.

The building structure features suspended concrete slabs supported on steel screw piles, with external walls comprising a combination of load-bearing precast concrete and non-load-bearing masonry. Aluminium windows and doors provide durability and natural light, while robust detailing ensures long-term performance. External works included the construction of a new playground within the rear courtyard, new concrete car parking to the front of the site, and extensive security fencing and gates throughout.

Delivered alongside wider campus upgrades, the project aligned with Moriah College’s master plan to improve traffic flow, increase green space, and enhance safety through new access infrastructure and water-sensitive urban design. Prime Constructions carefully managed site logistics within an active school environment, coordinating demolition works, infrastructure upgrades, and compliance-driven modifications with minimal disruption.

The completed preschool provides a safe, functional, and contemporary environment for students and staff, reflecting Prime Constructions’ expertise in delivering high-quality education facilities within complex, live campus settings.
