Dalton Hall – St Aloysius College

Client St Aloysius College
Architect Gardner Wetherill & Associates

Prime Constructions delivered Dalton Hall at St Aloysius’ College as a landmark, multi-purpose educational and sporting facility on the Wyalla campus in Kirribilli. Completed in 2010, the five-level, $9.2 million building brought the College’s future-focused vision to life as part of Phase 1 of the Plan Magis Master Plan, overcoming complex site constraints through close collaboration with the consultant team.

Dalton Hall accommodates a wide range of functions, including a swimming pool, gymnasium, large sports hall, classrooms, staff offices, and a rooftop car park, creating a highly efficient and flexible facility that supports both academic and co-curricular activities. Designed as a central hub for the College, the building also serves the wider community through venue hire and events.

Constructed on time and on budget, the project demonstrates Prime Constructions’ expertise in delivering complex, multi-level education facilities within constrained urban environments. Funded through philanthropic support, Dalton Hall remains a key component of St Aloysius’ ongoing campus evolution, enabling the College to innovate, enhance student experiences and attract exceptional teaching and support staff.
