Swire Cold Storage Facility
Prime Constructions delivered Stages 3 and 4 of Swire Cold Storage in Lurnea, expanding the facility by 9,500m².
The project includes 6,500m² of frozen storage (-27ºC), a 3,000m² refrigerated annex, 400m² of offices, a 300m² battery charge room, 5,000m² of external hardstand, and 700m² of new parking. The steel-framed building features PIR insulation panels and a concrete flooring system, with 50% of the freezer on a suspended slab over a flood zone.
Completed in collaboration with Swire, Sparks & Partners and Nettleton Tribe, the project highlights Prime’s expertise in temperature-controlled logistics facilities.
