St Mary’s Parish Centre
Prime Projects successfully delivered the new St Mary’s Parish Centre in North Sydney, handing it over to the Trustees of the Roman Catholic Church for the Archdiocese of Sydney. The project involved the demolition of the existing two-storey monastery and the construction of a modern two-level Parish Centre with a full basement car park, designed to enhance accessibility and amenity for parishioners while respecting the heritage precinct.
Designed by Mayoh Architects, the facility includes parish administration offices, a versatile community and school hall, and an indoor-outdoor gathering space with BBQ and toilet facilities. Completed in 2012, the Ron Dyer Parish Centre integrates seamlessly with the broader St Mary’s campus, supporting educational, religious, and community activities for the Parishes of Our Lady of the Way.
Prime’s delivery balanced heritage considerations, functional design and high-quality construction, creating a central hub for parish and school life.
