Linfox Pharmaceuticals, Erskine Park
Prime Constructions delivered the Linfox Pharmaceuticals facility in Erskine Park, NSW — a state-of-the-art temperature-controlled storage and distribution hub supporting Australia’s largest privately owned logistics provider. Completed in 2014 within a 46-week program, the $31 million project comprises 27,000m² of specialised warehousing and 1,500m² of associated office space.
Purpose-built for healthcare logistics, the facility includes an industrial freezer, an 800m² cool room, two high-security vaults and a dedicated dangerous goods area, enabling safe handling of sensitive pharmaceutical and medical products. Thermo-mass precast concrete panels with insulated cores were used throughout to achieve exceptional thermal performance, security and compliance with stringent pharmaceutical storage standards.
The project also addressed complex site challenges, including significant level changes and on-site stormwater detention requirements, delivered through innovative engineering solutions that improved long-term efficiency and maintainability.
Recognised with the 2014 MBA Excellence in Construction Award, the facility highlights Prime’s expertise in delivering high-performance, temperature-controlled logistics environments that support critical supply chains and future industry growth.
